Plate Council 1 briefly in English

And so the time had begun to do the first Plate Council. The humble participants were Antti, Hannu and Ville. Each of them had brought two songs with them to criticize.

The song number one was:
End Of You: Fragile Skin

Ville: This was tried to be a hit song but it lacked the potential. 4 points.
Antti: Lazy song, lazy playing. 3 points.
Hannu: The melodies for this song must have been ordered from the internet's bulgarian pirate copy concept page. The singer should have been more drunk. 6 points.

The number two was:
Korpiklaani: Journeyman

Hannu: Nice song to clean your toilet to. 7 points.
Ville: The violin is less in tune than Ville at hangover. 6 points.
Antti: The song was real pain in the ass, a long way to be the next Finntroll. 4 points.

Song number 3:
Pain Confessor: Lake of Regret

Antti: A song with nice rhytm base and good melodies with a great singer. 7 points.
Hannu: The elements more heavy than an elephant floated smooth like hell. 8 points.
Ville: A real hit, the chorus got stuck to head like pizza dough to a bowl. 9 points.

Song number 4:
Dreamtale: Powerplay

Hannu: The riff for the C-part almost caused a shitstroke. That kind of crap can be found only from beginner bands and the pants of German heavy-Horsts. 2 points.
Antti: Do they still do stuff like this? The chorus was straight from the eighties. 5 points.
Ville: The chorus sounded like Modern Talking, but without a sticking melody. 2 points.

Song number 5:
Terrorwheel: Snake Eyes

Ville: Nice and hollow guitar sounds. This is rock n' roll and I don't like it. 6 points.
Antti: This must be the work of some old goats. 6 points.
Hannu: If I'd be a car person, this song would have a meaning. 5 points.

Song number 6:
Vintersorg - Spegelsfären

Hannu: Very bouncing song, but still it managed to get on grip. 9 points.
Ville: Probably a good song, but needs more listening. The moods changed throughout the song awfully lot. 7 points.
Antti: The changing of vocal styles is marvellous. A little bit mode of catchiness needed here. 8 points.
